Last night, I worked with my assistant manager. She asked me what kind of sidestack I wanted to put out. I looked at her like she had grown another head. Apparently someone was supposed to communicate to me that each head cashier needed to come up with a product to put by the registers. I asked her if I could have an entire endcap. This became a negotiation of offering me one shelf and me continuing to ask for an entire endcap. I know this comes as a shock, but I got my endcap, and a sidestack. I spent about an hour or so going through the store and snagging all the green products I could find. My endcap is bright, colorful, and totally green (and it’s not all cleaning supplies- there’s paint supplies and such too). My cashiers think it’s cute. Yay for me. It gets to be there as long as the sales are up on those products. We shall see how it does.
