It seems that whenever school is actually in session, I have insomnia. I don’t think it’s stress, it’s only week 2, I have nothing to stress about yet. Last night I should have fallen asleep early, I was running on two hours of sleep. I was tired, real tired; I had trouble staying awake in my last class of the day. Yet after I got home, I still worked out (ran my first solid mile last night) ate dinner, did homework, and then watched TV until 1am. It’s just getting ridiculous. This morning I slept through the alarm, only by half an hour thank goodness, but still. . .
I elected not to swim this morning and instead took a nap in my truck. It was wonderful. I slept for a solid hour and feel much better this morning than I did when I got here. I have however decided that I miss having a car to sleep in. There is something to be said for being able to lay the seat back. I woke up with a sore neck from the akward angle I was sleeping in. But I won’t complain, sleep is sleep and I’ll take it when I can get it!
On a side note, here is a picture of my poor tired puppy trying to pull an all-nighter with me. Poor thing was just too tired and he has no problem sleeping!

Yes it is, he’s lost weight and is back in fighting form! And has a bit of grey on the face of course, he is an old man!
